    Howdy!

    Didn’t find this so I apologize if it’s already been answered…

    On my advanced search, http://www.pixeldustfilms.com/ee/index.php/search/ you’ll notice that it allows you to search in every “container” (I renamed weblogs to containers as it made more sense to me).  Anyway, I have delimited what “weblogs” can be searched via

    {exp:search:simple_form search_in="everywhere" weblog="not nowplaying|footer|sidebar"}

    but that only applies if you do a search from the header of my main pages.  As soon as you get the “canned” advance search page, it seems all bets are off.  Not only can you search in my footer, as well as my sidebar, you can actually choose those weblogs and I basically wish for those to be missing from the advance search criteria as well as any information contained in those weblogs.

    Hope I’m making sense and thanks in advance.

    Just what I needed, when I needed it!

    A lot of the time when I need something, a post will appear from just a few days before I need the info. Funny old world…isn’t it?

    (Then there are the times when I desperately need some bit of info and it seems no one on the Web has ever written a single shred about it.)

    Hey Michael,

    Yep, that’s pretty much how I was able to build out my first site with EE!  Great forum community, isn’t it?

    Good luck!
