    Hi,

We’re working on a community website for a artist (singer) from the Netherlands. This site will have the following structure and content :
    • Lyrics
    • Event-calendar
    • News
    • Video’s
    • Photo gallery
    • Forum
    • Guesbook
    • Newsletter
    • Poll

    Removed by admin

The site itself will be installed with the Multiple Site Manager, since 3 other (artist-like) websites from the same music label will be added in the future. In addition to this, I’d like to know if the Multiple Site Manager will be able to distinguish the (forum)users from each different site, since I’d like to send different newsletters for each artist.

    Hi Nico,

If you are looking to hire someone, please use the Job Board. Thanks.

Newsletters in EE are indepentant of Member Groups because they are opt-in, meaning the person has to sign up. EE supports multiple newsletters so you could create a newsletter for each site, place them appropriately, and end up with lists specific to the artists.

You can also create 3 different Member Groups, one for each site and set a Site’s preferences so that when a person registers at a particular Site, they are registered to the Member Group of your choice. This would give you a way to identify who registered through a specific site.
