Is it possible to manually order weblog entries? instead of having them asc, desc by date.

You can do this by using custom field; alternatively, there is a REEorder module that could help.

A search for REEorder should find it, or it may be listed in the wiki Modules list.

Can you sort Gallery entries the same way (via a custom field)?
