I’m working on the 30-day hosted trial of EE and like what I see so far. But I wanted to try and test OpenAds on the site I’m building and don’t know if it’s:

a) possible to upload to EE during the 30-day trial, and
b) if it is possible, how to go about it.

I don’t expect someone to walk me through how to set up OpenAds on the site (but won’t turn down the help if it’s offered), but I just want to know how to upload to the site while on the hosted trial.

Hi, Mike - welcome to the forums!

You can upload by using the File Upload in the Publish form; however, you won’t be able to use that to upload a PHP script.  If you need to test OpenAds I’d recommend setting up an EECore site and using that for testing that.

As a note, we have many users utilizing OpenAds, so I don’t suspect you’ll have any problems. =)

Thanks for the quick response. Do I need to set up an EECore locally? Or do I need to host it somewhere?

You’ll need a server that meets the requirements to test with EECore. =)
