Hi, i just recently started using ee. My question is that when i try an access whatever.com/index.php/member/profile/ from my site, do i actually need to physically create an html file that represents it, or is it already created under the admin members and group/template area? Pretty much the url schemes are kind of confusing me. THanks for any clarification.

Hi, aimbot - welcome to the forums!

You do not need to create an HTML file - you can modify the look and feel of those templates by going to your control panel, then Admin -> Members & Groups -> Membership Profile Templates.

You can also read about URLs in the docs on Understanding URLs.  I’d also recommend reading The Importance of Semantics and the docs on member related links.
