Hi,

Does anyone have an email address for Solspace?  I’m getting this error when I try and create an account or send information from their feedback form:

“You are not authorized to perform this action”

This has do with their security settings and the country-wide firewall (South Africa) I’ve routing through.

Does anyone have their email address (it’s not on their site.)?

Hi, Thanks for that.  The only problem is, I’m having the same problem when I try and send an email using the contact form.

I suppose Solspace is using an EE backend?  I had the same problem with EE’s own site until one of the admins created a special account for me.  I could not create an account or download. The problem is that I’m in South Africa, which has a country-wide firewall that EE’s security settings don’t like.  It prevents any data being posted to the site.

This might be an issue for users of EE to be aware of in general because if the only way site users can contact you is through forms, you may not know that many users may not be able to interact with your site.  Certainly, users from South Africa (a tech savvy nation of 55 million) can’t unless EE’s default’s security settings are overridden.  This is not the fault of EE, but just the awkward and evolving reality of global internet security situation at the moment.

Anyway, if you could PM me an email address for Solspace, that would be *fab* 😊

Rex, use the contact form on our site, from the page I linked you to.  Solspace likely doesn’t have the modification implemented that we do to allow secure forms with users from South Africa.
