Im starting to build new EE-site to client and also thinking of updating my own EE-site to latest version of EE. What i have quickly read, there seems to be problems with “pages”-module and other small/big(i dunno really) issues.

I wish that i dont run into problems when starting the initial install(i think there should be no problem at all) but what i think seriously atm. is that do i really have to upgrade now - and then run to some issues.

Well in my mind was only this thought that is it beginning to be “safe"time to start upgrading my EE or might there be some issues to come?

Anyways, i run my site and forum with only five plugins, from extensions i have exifier in use.

tuittu - the note about the Pages module was about the third-party Pages module, pre 1.6, from Mark Huot; if you are not/have never run that, then you can safe upgrade by following the instructions in the documentation.

Oh. That means that i should have DLed and installed it from other sources first. It does not come with the EE-pack what i have DLed from “my donwloads”?

If thats the case - thank you. Now only thing that bothers me is the exifier-extension (what i run in my forums but it has to be installed via admin/extensions).

Believe, i love EE and so far this has been a case that i simply love to tell to all my friends and clients for all-around purposes. Exspecially after i have got little more familiar how to build site with EE (and yes - i have sooo many things that i havent done or even tested yet with EE so i wonder what more there can be…*drools*).

    Thanks!
    - Tuittu
