Can someone tell me how to display the total number of entries for a weblog, but limited to only a specific period.  In my case, I’d like to show how many entries are posted on a group blog during the month of November.

I suspect it’s with a query and {count}, but how to do it is beyond me.

Maybe it’s not even possible.

Using Low’s purdy Yearly Archives Plugin, I have a page that denotes on mouseover the number of entries contained in a month. See his demo. It uses a plugin tag, {num_entries} not a general EE one to get that number and I think can only be used with a month in that plugin.

So, not a incredibly flexible plugin, but a good one that I’ve been quite satisfied with. If that’s what you were attempting to do, check it out.
