If I just wanted to have a standard feature blog (comments, categories, syndication, etc) but wanted a somewhat custom template, but nothing crazy, what kind of price range would I expect, and should I post my needs on the job forum here or contact the Pro Developers?  I’ve contacted Pro Developers for another project once and I have a feeling they don’t touch anything for less than $x,xxx.  The blog will about songwriting, and as a start I just need something a bit unique, and modification of one of the default templates I guess.

    Suggestions?

Also, are there more EE templates available that are not listed on the EE site?

It is not possible to give a price range in this manner.  0 to a million would be about accurate.  You really need to go look at the Pro Network or post a job ad and seek out quotes.

Yes, have a look at wiki Templates as well. You can also use a template from almost anywhere, oswd.org is popular. Just drop in EE tags where you want dynamic data.  Did you see Boyink’s Tutorial?

I understand your point, but since I said a standard blog with no extra features, it would not be near a million. 😊

Thanks for the reminder of oswd.org.  I’m not messing with code any more myself, but I assume that if I find a oswd template, and have just minor changes to it, a EE developer could quickly code it for EE.
