..but I have some questions.
I have an old pmachine free site that is currently a subdomain of a completely seperate website which I’m looking to replace with EE. Is it possible to upgrade my pmachine free subdomain site and upgrade it to EE after I replace the main domain site with EE?
Please advise…

What version of pM Free are you on? If 2.3 onwards, then you can follow these docs to import your data into ExpressionEngine.

honestly, I don’t remember. Is there a way to check? I havent’ updated my PMachine free in like 2 years but I’ve had it since 2003 and I still want to keep it and not as the main site… as a sub-site using that multisite manager.

From memory, it should have the version in the upper right.
How do you mean keep it running using the Multiple Site Manager? The Multiple Site Manager lets you run multiple Sites through ExpressionEngine; it doesn’t have any relation to pMachine Pro or Free - both were discontinued years ago. =)
