Wiki images not showing for 'members'

Thank you on both counts. I have ensured I’ve tested with the latest default theme within the Wiki and the image problem persists.

The discussion module page you referenced refers to major releases of that module. If the modules are only touched as part of full point (not patchlevel) releases then that’s fine - but I’m not quite convinced that’s the case. Basically I’m unclear on the interplay of patchlevel releases outside of the system folders.

For example, the new build_log file for 20070918 refers to “Fixed Invalid markup in profile “Success” and “Error” message themes (removed unnecessary closing </h2>”. Another one is “Fixed invalid markup in Bulletin Board template (missing closing div in {if no_bulletins} conditional).”

I’m wondering how changes like this will make their way into the relevant templates if I’ve only updated “system” folders per the update instructions. There’s no list of changed files as such.

I hope I’m not labouring a point or that this is obvious to all but me, but I’m genuinely puzzled and don’t want my install to end up out-of-synch, nor do I really want to do a full reinstall and have to rebuild the wiki, profile and forum template edits I’ve done. If I know the files that have changed within the various template areas I can isolate the changes and mirror them through my own changes which are by and large CSS related.

The minor theme changes you mentioned are just to validate some mark-up; they’ll be detailed in the next version (not build) details. If you’ve customized your templates then you’ve likely validated (?) them as well, so it may not even effect you.

Now, this is a local test environment, yes? There’s really not much more troubleshooting we can do without seeing the site, unfortunately.  We definitely can not replicate this problem.

Since we can’t go in and see the site, can you do this for me?

Make a test article with only a single image in it.  As a superadmin, view the page, then view source - save that to a text file.

Now, as a Member, view that page again, view source and save that to a different text file.  Zip them up and attach them so that we can see what is going on?

You might also make a quick second wiki and see if you can replicate it in that one as well; but let’s see the source and try to figure out what’s going on. =)

I’ll get the site onto a public server for you to look at and get you some code fragments as well.

(In between playing with Leopard 😊 )

I’m so jealous, I don’t dare run Leopard on this machine. :(
