I realize this is sort of a second thank you post but I really felt it was appropriate. Over the past week I’ve had to deal with several troublesome emails from extremely, let’s say, unique people. That type of thing can really get a person down. On my walk today it hit me that this was 3 people out of 45,000+ registered members on our forums. Actually, 2 of the 3 weren’t even registered on the forums. Most companies would kill for that sort of stability in a community. We only had to beat up Paul a few times. According to the Airbag Blog Advisory System, I would say that Tim O’Reilly loves you and unicorns and we do too.

Next week I’ll be answering your questions on the video post. If you have a question you’d like answered, just post it in this week’s thread. A couple notes.

    1. Just because you ask doesn’t mean we’ll answer.

    2. “No” is a legitimate answer. 😊

I’ve been tempted to read emails but they are technically private property and if nothing else I really want to respect people’s privacy even if that lessens the entertainment possibilities.

Hats off to you guys too. Without sounding too lovey dovey…

… we all love you guys!! 😊

Seriously though I have been on many hundreds of forums in the past and they always tend to get into arguments somewhere along the line but I can honestly say hand on heart that the users and admin (I like to call them friends now) of EE are the best bunch of people that anyone (myself obviously included) are ever likely to meet or chat to on the internet in my case so far.

So, my hat’s off to you guys not only for putting out what I wholly believe to be the best internet software out there anywhere in the world but also for being the most thoroughly helpful bunch of people this side of the universe.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Yes, please don’t judge us all by the few people that take advantage of their access to you guys.  We will continue making this community thrive on positivity which will lend to Ellis Lab making great software for all of us.

    Peace,

Its a little known fact that we judge the entire community solely based on PXLated. So if we’re grumpy, blame him. 😊

Well, just so you know, I told him to take the rocks out of that pillow day before yesterday.

Reminds me of a post I read the other day on Eating Bees, one of my favourite online community management blogs.
