I have a client looking for a way to collaboratively edit a rather large and specificly style document, and it actually looks like a discussion forum might, strangely enough, be a really quick solution that perfectly fits how the document will be viewed/written as well as other criteria.

The only problem is the document is a bit technical in nature and there needs to be formatting like lists and simple tables, and no one editing this thing will know HTML or want to learn it.

Has anyone tried using a WYSIWYG in the discussion forums?  I’ve used TinyMCE in the CP and it works well enough - definitely has some quirks but it’s passible. I can’t remember - is it easy to use in other areas outside the CP? Or if you prefer a different one that could easily be implemented, what is it and why?

    Thanks for any thoughts 😊
