    I am in the middle of setting up an advanced blog / moblog which currently incorporates the following:

    1. Standard blog entries from the control panel (WORKING)
    2. Entries sent via standard email / with image attachments (WORKING)
    3. Entries sent via mobile phone (in my case a Blackberry) email / with image attachments (WORKING)

    I really want to go a step further than this and incorporate video, whether it be quicktime or other, specifically:

    1. Entries sent via standard email / with video attachments
    2. Entries sent via mobile phone (in my case a Blackberry) email / with video attachments

    Further to this maybe allowing fans to film live shows on their mobile and upload them????

    If I could take a step back though, can I upload video using the moblog module?  Has anybody done this and if so, where should I start?

    Todd, how big of an attachment are you talking about?

    It might be upto 5MB, possibly a quicktime file but it maybe other formats (if it is possible).

    If you have the memory to handle it, there’s nothing implicit in the moblog that prevents vid files from being attached- you can see the defaults in mod.moblog.php:

    $this->movie = array('3gp','mov','mpg','avi','movie');

    So yes- it should be doable.  Haven’t tried it myself, though.
