I just watched the 1st and 2nd demo videos and was wowed by them. This is really easy. Easier than CakePHP. I’m definitely going to start using this as my framework.
A couple thing about the 2nd video:
1) Asking users to set $config[‘base_url’] would be good. My links were initially off.
2) On Windows, I needed $autoload[‘libraries’] = array(‘database’); not $autoload[‘core’] = array(‘database’);
Small things. The videos were nonetheless great.

Yeah, the base_url is a common issue people ask about here, and I think the database loading has changed between the time those videos were produced and now (thus the discrepancy).
Welcome to CI - if you have any issues, feel free to post here. The community surrounding this framework is the best I’ve seen!

maybe the video was produced before the 1.5.4 version… But in the autoload.php has a very good explanation about the change!!!
I agree with wales!! this community is always active and friendly! one more point to ci 😛
