I have a “large” membership on an EE based site that has been running for years.
The membership is key to controlling content, allowing access to our forums, and communicating via mail-outs.
Problem is, how does one allow a member to “opt-out” of membership in a simple and transparent way that doesn’t involve the ADMIN hand fielding emails and deleting by hand?
Is this possible?
If not is using the member group to send emails (a very common EE functionality) possibly “illegal” (anti-spam)?
