I think the title pretty much sums it up. There is lots going on, I just can’t be very specific at the moment without endangering my well-being. Is it really better than not knowing at all?

Wow… L.C. posts a teaser blog post, and then they close the discussion thread for it.
Whassup with that!
Any ideas what’s going on behind the scenes then???
Anybody with any ideas, surely isn’t going to spill it…
So ...Speculation anyone?
New version maybe, I’m not real sure on the usual timetable for new version spin-off’s
Something to do with eCommerce maybe, I can think of one mod that would be cool on that regard.
Any other ideas, maybe they are working on the long awaited molecular transformation, that would be cool…
Somebody shoot me a P.B. and J. over here, oh and a glass of milk!! 😉
Don’ forget this is the lounge, far be it for a rumor to get started in here 😉

Weird. I’m not sure how the thread got closed. It certainly wouldn’t be this gun Paul has pointed at me. Merging this thread to the original.

I didn’t quite understand what he meant with certified module…
Is it a new module?
or like the plugins/extensions, that you can add them to the database..?
Or a certification for companies (developers)?
A long, long time ago in a thread far-far away there was much heated discussion about 3rd party add-ons and their reliability. It was suggested that EllisLab offer some sort of certification process for 3rd party add-ons that are available for commercial use.
The certification would mean that the code has been reviewed by the EllisLab dev team and be deemed “up to par” and that the 3rd party is committed to the module and its support long-haul. It will receive a “certified” label of some sort to separate it from other 3rd party add-ons. It will also be available directly from the ExpressionEngine.com store. Support for the add-on will be provided from the 3rd party directly, not from EllisLab.
We have a trial run for just such a developer and his module that will hopefully be available this month. Depending on how the trial goes this process and opportunity will be made available to other interested 3rd parties willing to invest in getting their add-on certified. If you are such a developer, it would behoove you to start checking your code against the Developer Guidelines as the code must meet every single last one of those requirements without exception.
We’ll have more information available this month (he said hopefully) though the certification program for others will likely not start until next year.

What’s even more teasing is I have no audio on this work computer…. so I can’t even hear the video… only try to read lips
I can make out where the part where he says “Pie Man is awesome, and we’re depositing $100,000 in his bank account…” but nothing else 😉

PieMan…Your lip reading is a little off…
“we’re withdrawing $100,000 from his bank account”
I’d check that Swiss bank account ready quick and put a hold on it.
