Last time I posted needmg answers the response was quick and easy and so I’m hoping for a follow up to match.  Here are the questions my boss gave me, which is funny because I have clue about anything in EE at all.  Please be patient and thanks for your time…

    1) How do you edit/modify the sidebar section on the index page?

    2) How do you get a post to show up?  Been having trouble with this I’m ashamed to admit.

    Thanks again!

Hi, Huff - you modify the sidebar in the Templates section; where you do that and in what template depends on how your designer set those templates up.

For 2 - What version of EE are you on? EECore or EE?

Just simple EE.  I even checked the global weblog preferences and it was set up for a clean cache so I’m stumped.

Can you go to the control panel and look at the very bottom, then copy and paste that footer here, please?

    Lisa,

Will you be able to check back tomorrow morning?  That way I can look at it some more and if not I’ll paste the footer as you requested.  Thank you so much for your help you’ve been very good.

Gabe, there are three of us that work in this forum. One or more of us will be around in the morning. 😊

Yes, it looks like you’re on the full version of EE, but your account is not set up for technical support access.  Can you please email sales with the license number of the site you’re working on, and your expressionengine.com username, so we can get you setup? Then we can get you appropriate help. =)

Thanks Lisa.  I’ll email sales with the info you suggested.  Once that is all set up I’ll hit you back.  Thanks for everything!
