I’ve just tried installing the Git-Gui interface to Git. I’m attaching a screen shot.

Does anybody know how to tell Git-Gui what files I want it to keep track of? I’ve looked at the menu commands and the online docs, but haven’t yet found it. (I have the same question with svnX too!)

Can I just ask a quick question, I am a single developer so only me working on a project at any one time. At the moment I create a whole new sub folder called dev on a domain and work live on that, problem is I have no version control.

How can I work live on a copy so I can see if my code works but implement SVN as well? Or is the best way to move the development to a local machine and do testing there and when I am happy commit the file to SVN? Problem is I won’t have so many backups of a file until I feel its worth committing?

Anyone know a good SVN client for Mac OS X?

SmartSVN is awesome.  And free: http://www.syntevo.com/smartsvn/download.html

    I use Cornerstone ($60). It’s very good.
