A key feature os MSM is Member Database is “installation wide”
However when I’m running MSM a seemingly undocumented anomaly appears on the Member Groups page; when any “installation wide” membership group is selected for editing I find that I cannot edit the group “installation wide”, but only at the MSM/site level.
Is this the intended behaviour?

There’s a drop-down on the left in the member management area that allows you to select which site you are setting a member group’s permissions for. Note that you can change that drop-down and edit permissions for each site all at once, only submitting the form one time, if you like.
