In other words can I apply different language packs to individual sites?

You can apply different defaults, as those are handled on a per MSM site basis.  But- if a user sets their own localization settings, it will apply across all sites.  Make sense?

    :red:

..meaning that language packs are applied on a per-user basis, not per site?

    How logical.

    Thanks Robin.

LOL- yea, it actually takes a while to wrap your head around how the MSM works- at least in the details.  But it kinda boils down to individual member settings will be installation wide, but member group settings can vary across MSM sites.  As can ‘site’ settings, of course.  Which kinda makes sense, particularly when you look at how the data are stored in the db.

(And think I’m going to move this… maybe to ‘General’?  Sound about right.)
