I’ve been looking all over the forums for information on fixing the MySQL and Ensim database issue but haven’t found the solution. Ensim creates databases with hyphens in them like….domain_com_-_DBNAME. EE still chokes on this kind of DB name. Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution?

    thanks!!!

    Hi Rayna,

I think there must something else causing you a problem because we use Ensim on our server and have no problems with the default DB format.

    Cheers

If you are Appliance Administrator you can configure the prefix. If not you might ask the administrator.

That said, I could have sworn we are running a site or two with prefixes like that and never encountered any issues but I might be wrong…
