I received the following notice about a comment left on my blog:

The title of the entry is:
    XXXXX

You can see the comment at the following URL:
    http://mydomain.com/index.php/site/comments/ARTICLE TITLE

However, the URL does not work because I don’t have a “comments” template, but I have an article template so this works (according to my web guy):

One proper URL is http://mydomain.com/index.php/article/ARTICLE TITLE/#comments

Unfortunately, he wants to charge me to go in and fix this since it was not setup initially and I thought I would give it a stab before paying him his hourly fee to go in and edit the e-mail templates.

Can anyone suggest a way that a noob might be able to fix it so the emails will include a link in the same format as the one above?

To get to the templates just go to:

Admin ›  Specialty Templates ›  Email Notification Templates ›  Admin Notification of Comments

However, {comment_url} is there by default, so you may be straight on that.  Which means you may just need to go to:

Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  Weblog Management ›  Edit Weblog

An change your comment page URL.
