So- client is wanting to add a ‘Knowledge base’ type area to one of his sites.  Based on the requirements- I’d like to do it via weblogs- but wiki is a possible.  But- he wants a fair level of control over what gets posted and how edits can happen.  I just think weblogs- using the EE Kblog as an example- are the way to go.  So- ran it down for him, pros/cons and linked to EE wiki and EE Kblog as example sites of the two different approaches.

Now he wants some more examples of the ‘Kblog’ type approach.  Why?  I do not know.  I asked if HE has any examples of the type of thing he’s wanting so that we could look at- he says ‘no’.  OK.

So- for the sake of my sanity, I’m wondering if any of you folks have some good example sites I could point him to that are using EE as a sort of Knowledge base- interpreting that fairly liberally, as I’m not sure what he wants and why looking at the Kblog didn’t give him enough to base a judgment on.

Heck- they really don’t have to be EE sites, as I’m pretty sure I can get it working in EE.  But- EE would be preferable!

Any ideas anyone cares to show off?

    Hi, Robin.

Our FAQ is based off weblogs, and I guess would be similar to what you’re talking about. It’s not really complex, just a simple set-up.

Magento Commerce’s KB is driven by EE (I believe the entire site is actually).
