I did a search, but didn’t see the answer (likely lousing searching skills).  I could have asked sales, but I figured it might be good to have the answer in the forums as well.

I own a personal license.  If I upgrade to commercial, does that reset my years support from the date of the upgrade?  I would imagine it does, but best to find out.

Also, if I upgrade to commercial, do I have to upgrade my personal forum to commercial forum as well, or what are the rules regarding that?

    Thanks in advance!

You get an additional free year of Download Account access when you upgrade from Personal to Commercial.

The license rules are always the same. The license you need depends on use. Two simple questions can help you determine what type of license you need.

    1. Is the primary purpose of the site to make money?

    2. Is the purpose of the site to support a legal business or professional service in any way?
If you answer yes to either of the above then you need a Commercial license.
