Next week Jones and I have cooked up something completely different. We’ll be attending a funeral so make sure your black formal wear is ready to go.

So there hasn’t been much speculation on Leslie’s comment from his “Giving Thanks” blog post. Are we all pretty sure it’s the death of 1.x releases giving way to 2.x?

Stephen, That would be most welcome!

Funeral will be in 2-3 hours, depending on how quickly I can get through the rest of today’s email.

To put some speculation to rest, it has zero to do with EE directly. In other words, its not EE 1.0 funeral or any related EllisLab products. It is, however, a topic you’re likely very familiar with.

Hmm, curious. Thanks for sharing Leslie!

Keep in mind, today’s video post is totally for fun. I’m really not-hyping any sort of announcement or part-taking in any weasel marketing. I suppose I should get out of the forums and finish things up 😊

If you need gossip, I’m happy to oblige, and remember, I’m on the inside!  The reason Les is doing the post with Derek is because they actually share the same brain!  They’ve downloaded it into a supercomputer (of course, what other kind of system could hold the sheer amount of knowledge) that is securely protected by specially trained “guard-monkeys”.

Oh, and the brain will get bought by Google!

    You heard it here first!

If that’s the case than the video should be quite entertaining!
