    hello,

I have a few more questions about the license this time.

I See that with the personal license there is the simple commerce module but how can i use that with the personal license ?? I’m missing something here.

If i make a website with a paying membership for only some content not all of it or if I sell an ezine for exemple witch on do I need ? the ezine would cost something like 5 dollar a year ! not really to make money but more like support the work!

If I have a website witch is my primary purpose for my martial art school not selling anything on it but a the school is a business what then ?

    i’m a bit confused here.
I would like to purchase the personal and forum and multiple site modules but if i have to take the commercial it is way to expensive for me ! (don’t have the school yet 😉 )

and another thing if I have multiple site and only one of them is commercial witch is the best solution (this is not related to the questions above just don’t want to have a bad surprise at the end )

    Thanks for your help

    best regards

Selling or not selling a product/service doesn’t determine the type of license. A non-profit, for example, may want to sell t-shirts, accept donations, etc… See the Knowledge Base for the License F.A.Q..

Two simple questions can help you determine what type of license you need.
    1. Is the primary purpose of the site to make money?

    2. Is the purpose of the site to support a legal business or professional service in any way?
If you answer yes to either of the above then you need a Commercial license.

A commercial license would be most appropriate sense the site is supporting a business.

All the licenses on a single installation have to match. So if you have 5 personal sites and one commercial site, you’d need a Commercial license for all of them. This is because the Multiple Site Manager is designed to manage related internet properties not replace individual installations.

From both a technical and license perspective its best to keep sites that aren’t related to each other on separate installations as there is no way to separate them later.
