Great thanks for that example and info. However, do you have any suggestions or links for dynamically updating the Lightbox utility as Mark mentioned?
Hi there,
Sorry I may not have been totally clear in that one answer as to what I meant by what I had said. What I meant is that say you had a weblog with an image per entry (just as an example).
You could then code a template that shows all the entries of that weblog on one page in a grid layout (say 4 images across by however many down you need to show all the weblog entries).
Each of these images could then be spat out automatically by the template with the lightbox code already attached to them so that when you click on one of the images it would come up using lightbox but you would also have the option of going through all of the images in the same way.
If you take a look at this site that I helped to code then you can see what I mean. If you click on one of the images then it will show in the lightbox utility. You can then either press the ‘n’ key to go to the next image or the ‘p’ key to go to the previous image or if you hover over the image near the top of it you will see next and previous buttons.
It was great using EE for this as we only had to program the code in for one image (box in the grid if you like) and then it was spat out automatically for every single entry! Really helpful.
Hope that helps explain what I meant by that a bit more.
Best wishes,
Mark
