Is there any other products what can be integrated to EE than Solspace’s module?
I’ve been searching for finnished, working, well managed solution for getting a goog member photogallery system to EE but it seems that i cant find any…

Is out there any Good products that can be integrated to EE?

Member-friendly, no admin-access, full admin to member to his/her gallery, crossbrowser working, no access to other galleries, build-in upload system etc…

yeh, i could pay for it too. Well i mean i could pay if good module comes into sales and it does cost “that” much. Someone could think of doing this cos photographing is so popular now-a-days…

I would recommend that you email sales with the details of your project, as it sounds like you may be pushing the boundaries of the license in supplying sites to others.  You can read more about that here and of course, you should review our license.

    Hi, tuittu,

All that I am asking is that you email sales with details about your project, so that we can help to ensure that you use EE within the licensing. There is no accusation here, simply a request.  Thank you. =)

Unfortunately, that would be against the license:

    Restrictions

Unless you have been granted prior, written consent from EllisLab, Inc., you may not:

      * Use the Software as the basis of a hosted weblogging service, or to provide hosting services to others.

In this case, from your description, you would be providing hosting services to others, in the form of hosting their galleries.

Now, if you wished to set up a community gallery where many users contribute beautiful photos to a single gallery, then that would be fine as it would be a community effort.

If you would like to get into further details, then again, please email sales

    Thank you! =)

Yes, and if you read the articles that I posted above, it will explain the technical difficulties therein, as well; which is what prompted your post, it seems. =)

You might consider a different approach. There are image servers that you can integrate with EE that are optimized for that purpose. Your users would interact with that and leave EE to handle the presentation. That is how I did it with my site http://italartnet.com. The downside to that approach is cost in terms of software and dedicated servers. You will have to decide if it is worth the investment.

Well, i like EE so much because of its other modules, so after all - i just need to live with the situation and forget this gallery thing. Hopefully we still someday get gallery more open for communitybased usage.

And i apology! I was quite tired last night because of our new baby keeping me and my wife up last 3 days…
