Just curious if anyone had some advice on finding a cheap or cheaper graphics program for windows and OSX? Photoshop would be nice, but it’s out of the price range. Fireworks is also just a touch out of the price range. Any thoughts on Paint Shop Pro?
I’ve done some looking on the Internet, but I really value the opinions of those that use this forum. There are some great designers on here, so I’m curious what you would suggest someone should use if they’re on a tighter budget. :cheese:

In my honest opinion you can’t really afford to not use either of these programs. If you really can’t afford either of those though I would suggest not spending your hard earned on Paint Shop Pro, GIMP is free and 1000x times better.

If you’re on a budget I’d suggest Photoshop Elements, it does 80-90% of what Photoshop does if you don’t work in print.
Can be had for around 80$ or bundled for free with some printers or other hardware…
