Hi Folks,
I’d like to add a global variable, like {base-site-URL} to my preference panels so that I don’t have to do a Find/Replace throughout the site when migrating.
If I use this global variable always, then I would be able to simply change in one place.
So without breaking my site to test this out, can I do it?

No, though there is a feature request for that ability.
