I’m considering a switch to Engine Hosting but not real sure what all is involved in moving sites from one host to another. If I do make the switch, this will be my first time moving sites to a new host.

Can someone outline what I would need to do to make the switch and how difficult it is to do this?

Check out How do I move EE to another server?.  Contacts EngineHosting is also something I’d do as they have lots of experience with this. 😉

Thanks Lisa. Seems pretty straight forward at least. I’ll contact Engine Hosting as well. Seems my site is down yet again, so I’m not a happy camper!

I switched over to enginehosting and have been very happy with both the reliability as well as the support!

Thanks for sharing. Your sentiments seems to be the general consensus from what I’ve heard about EngineHosting. I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever heard one bad thing about them. So, now that I’ve signed up, hopefully that continues.
