you’re using the auto_path variable- which constructs a link based on the per weblog setting in ‘Admin- Weblog Admin- Weblog Mangement’.  For each weblog, edit it and check your ‘paths’- the auto_path uses the url in the ‘search’ path there- and appends a single entry indicator to it.

But in one of my weblog I have 3 subcats and search result give me:
http://www.mysite.com/someweblog/link-to-article

instead:

http://www.mysite.com/someweblog/someweblogcat/link-to-article
