    Greetings,

I’m curious if anyone has any experience using EE to manage / create online course modules.  (Please forgive me if I’m misusing the terminology, I don’t have any experience with these) I know that there is technology out there designed as completely dedicated web-course management systems (i.e. Blackboard, etc.) but I’m not familiar with a whole lot of them.

Granted, I haven’t been working with EE for very long, but from what I can tell, it is versatile enough to do just about anything.  Also, just brainstorming about it, I can already think of ways to structure templates etc. that would be very conducive to what I understand online-course are designed to offer.

Are there any specific advantages to using a solely course-based engine? Or, any disadvantages to using EE?  Any info is much appreciated.  Thanks!
