Any of you out there know how I can create a nice email daemon that will allow me to unzip emails and take the content, put it on the server and generally mess around with it?

Just need to know how to read incoming mail, unzip attachment and read/move/copy the files inside it.

You can either help me by telling me, or do it for me for a small fee. This is a small part of a big job so we can work something out for you.

pyro, did you get this working? i’ve got a little wrapper for the IMAP/POP3 functions referenced in marcoss’ post above. i’m figuring out how to get a wiki page going and getting word out to interested parties that i’ve got this in the works.

    EDIT…
Wiki page now up for imap_pop class
