    Okay, I posted some of this in another forum but I think I figured out what I need help with… Everything. :D

    I downloaded the plug-in Word Limit Plus. I FTPed this to the plugins folder in my blog. I assume this is how to install a plug-in.

    Now that I’ve done that, how on Earth do I apply this plug-in? I’m very new to PHP but know CSS and HTML quite well.

    If someone could show me some sample code of what I need to do in my CSS file and XHTML file to get the plug-in to display, that would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been searching all over for the past three hours and keep coming up with nothing.

    Even a link to a running site would work. I just need something visual to steer me in the right direction. I can’t figure out any of this. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Something like this goes inside a weblog:entries tag.

    {exp:word_limit total="28"}{body}{/exp:word_limit}

    Keep in mind—most plug-ins just add tags that you can use in code.  Other than they appear in the installed plug-in list in the control panel there really isn’t anything visual about them.
