Anyone try building any iPhone specific sites yet?

I’m a fan of the Rotten Tomatoes website but not a fan of their layout which is especially heavy when browsing on my iPhone using edge.  So I decided to try my hand at an iPhone website that gave me the stuff I really wanted from Rotten Tomatoes in a nicer format.  I used the iUI project from Joe Hewitt as my starting point.  And this is the end Result:

    RottenTomatoes for iPhone

I think it will only work properly if you are using Safari 3 or else your iPhone browser.  Haven’t tested it in anything else yet.  It could still use some optimization.  But it works and its much faster and lighter than the real Rotten Tomatoes.

Anyway, thought I would share since I was happy with the end result of my few hours work last night.  As long as you keep things light enough the whole Safari as a SDK thing can work somewhat well.  I still want to see a real SDK released though.

Looks good Jamie (on both my iPhone and a few other browsers).

I haven’t fiddled with any iPhone/EE projects yet but I’ve been noodling a few ideas.

If I end up doing any, I’ll post links here.
