I haven’t looked at it much or played with it yet but I figured while we’re all waiting (patiently) for the “EE Commerce Module”, another option for a shopping cart is always welcome.

FatFreeCart is built with jQuery, ThickBox, JSOD and E-junkie’s e-commerce engine. Cart graphic is by Wolfgang Bartelme (exclusive rights purchased for commercial use by E-junkie) and we used Jason Gaylor’s free Japanese Foliage brushes to liven up the site a bit.

I haven’t had a chance to look at it much myself-how well would that integrate with EE? I’m working on a site right now for children’s clothing and products, and would like to use EE for the entire site (e-commerce is a big component of the site, but there are quite a few information pages, a blog, and eventually there’ll be a forum, so EE is a good fit if I can get the e-commerce portion working the way the client wants). The big things we want to have are categories for the clothing and products-how would that work with FatFreeCart.

Looks kinda cool, when adding the Cd to the cart it puts two in the basket, I wonder why?
(yes I searched jQuery in the EE forums, just habit, lol)

If you need more features and want to upgrade to the Pro version, I worry that it may get very expensive, $720/year for 500 products.
