I have a question about the multi-site management.

If my non-profit company has 25 seperate subdomains that are managed by 25 seperate people and instead of limiting the permissions on the weblogs… if I decide to go forward with the multi-site manager.  Would I have to buy seperate licenses for the multi-site, if they are all sub-domains on the same server for the same company?

If so… do I have to purchase all the multi-sites at once.  Or can I purchase them as I build the sites?

    Thanks

Yes. MSM doesn’t look at the URL of a new “Site”, it only looks at if you’re creating a new Site in the Control Panel. So it doesn’t matter if they are subdomains, new domains, or something else. If the “Create New Site” option is selected, you’ll need to purchase Additional Sites past the initial 3.

You can purchase individually, as needed.
