I have read what information I can find on the Multiple Site Manager, and I still have a few questions.
    1. Am I correct that with this module multiple sites on separate URLs can share users?
    2. If a user logs in on one domain will they need to re-login on another domain? What I’m hoping is that they won’t need to re-login, but I can’t tell if it does this.

    Hi, james -

    1) Yes, the membership is installation-wide.
    2) The will need to relogin as cookies are specific to a domain.  I have to, for instance, login to the CodeIgniter forums when I go there.

So it would just be the same login for both sites though?

Yes, it would be the same login.  You can see how it works if you want to go to ellislab.com and visit our sites - here and CodeIgniter (and EllisLab, of course), from the user perspective.

So there is no way to have a “universal login” for sites on different domains?

What if the other site was just a sub-domain? Would you be able to have a single login with the multi site manager in that case?
