I had a very simple question. What is the “view pending posts” command in the forum module supposed to do? I would think it was a moderating tool, but unless I’m a moderator here at the EE forum (HA! It is to laugh!), I still see it.
There’s a view new posts, and a view new topics links, which I understand, I think (though the view new posts is really view new topics as well, I gather—there seems to be a bit of confusion on that, as in it doesn’t actually show new posts, just new topics I think). Thus, I don’t see what a pending post is as opposed to a new post outside of a moderating queue or something.
Perhaps someone can enlighten me? It’s for my own curiosity, so nothing urgent.
