I’ve decided to break my blog up into mutiple separate blogs. Commentary, News, History etc. For some reason I can’t even get my contributors to use the categories, and it’s EXTREMELY frustrating. We’ve got almost 2000 entries and i’m thinking 1990 of them are in ‘news’.

One thing I have been wanting to do is allow members to submit entries that require approval, but no special privs.

I’ve thought of a couple ways to achieve this, but I’m wondering if someone has an idea that maybe I’m missing.

Should I simply create another blog and give all members posting privs? It just seems a little sloppy.

One thing I’ve found is that if a user knows they can simply click a link and write their own stuff, they’re a lot more likely to do so rather than going through a backend all by themselves. If that makes sense.

    Anyone doing this already?
