Can someone explain how the new Custom Category Fields feature can be implemented. I don’t understand it’s use.

Can someone explain how the new Custom Category Fields feature can be implemented. I don’t understand it’s use.

They can be used for anything that you need to relate directly to that category. Things like category-specific links, extra category images, multi-lingual category descriptions, and anything you else you can think of that you would want to store specific to particular categories.
