I have two commercial licenses of EE for my own sites. I’m currently doing EE work for another web site which has an old version of EE installed. I suggested an upgrade to version 1.6 for their site. I don’t want to use copies of my own EE files to upgrade their site if their licensing is out of date. The obvious response it to ask them to purchase the new license but for all I know they are already paid up.
How can I handle this in a diplomatic way?
