I saw this error, and I am not sure if it has to be with the new upgrade or what.

When I upgraded to this new version everything went o.k.

[Error] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for each() in core.functions.php(635) : eval()‘d code on line 40

Let me what this error means, please.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Ludvik—

What version and build are you currently running (you can find that at the bottom of your CP) and what, exactly, are you doing when you see this warning?

    Hi Lisa:

It is EE version 1.6 and Build:  20070627

I see the errors on my server’s log… but I am not sure if it comes from accessing the CP or from people accessing the site.

I’ll ask about this, but until we can find out what is triggering it is going to be very, very hard to find. Do you have error messages being shown on your pages, so that you can try to locate the page that it appears on?

    Hello, Ludvik!

Just as a note, those eval’d errors are usually the result of a problematic conditional or PHP in a template.  We still need to know what template is throwing the error in order to look at it and find out what’s wrong, but that should hopefully narrow down your search.

In the meantime, I’ve moved this to the technical support forum as its more appropriate here. =)
