    Hi,

I’m looking for a super-simple way to have a client look at their current jobs in list form.

Perhaps a row and column type page that showed hot, medium, cold and done jobs.

Any ideas on that? I’d want him to be able to just go to a page without logging in.

On my end, publishing it has to be super-simple/fast too.

I tried my hand at publishing a forum http://www.vanwykdesign.com/index.php/forums/goodforthesoulmusic but this is way too complicated. Don’t think he would dig it.

However, there may be a different style forum page that could come up. Perhaps a different template.

    Thank you!

Why a Forum? I’d just use a weblog, create a template for viewing the list, and possibly a stand alone entry form for posting. I guess I would require login though if you are posting any jobs that aren’t yet public. I’d have either categories or statuses for the various types so I could sort or display by type.
Doesn’t get much easier than that…at least to my way of thinking.

I recently did this for a client and I set it up exactly like PXlated describes.

It works very nice and couldn’t be much easier for the client.

OK gang. I’m really needing someone to take me by the hand on this one. Would anyone be willing to call me and take me through, step by step? I’m going to hose something if I try this on my own. I really need some expert like one of you to hire to do little things here and there from time to time (did that make sense??? 😊

Anyway, hopefully it’s appropriate to ask this. I’m in San Antonio TX. My # is 210-930-0727. I own a little design agency called Van Wyk Design. A really super guy in Hawaii named Ron built my site in EE. These days he’s doing a lot of traveling so I’m looking for other sources.

    Thanks very much,
    Joe
