I am using the default search page to search my entire website. It works great except it will not search/display results for my calendar weblog. I’ve tested every other weblog on my site and it properly searches them.

I’m at a loss as to why only one weblog is not searching. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks.

Maybe a stupid question Deanna, but have you set your fields in this weblog “searchable”? Just a thought ...

Not a stupid question at all. I am using the default weblog for my calendar. I just checked to see if the fields were searchable by going to CP Home ›  Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  Field Groups ›  Custom Fields and checked yes for searching fields under the Default Group. Any other suggestions?

Just another basic question: maybe you listed some weblogs in the advanced search form tag, but did not include the calender. Or maybe a typo there? Sorry, if this is too basic 😊

Thanks for the idea, but I didn’t actually change anything to the search page. The funny thing is that the calendar weblog appears in the weblog box to allow you to search it only, but it won’t return results. Here is my search index for reference:

Hi, deanna. Are these calendar entries in the future?

AHHHHHHH….Thank you so much. I never thought of that and yes they are. I’ve altered the tag to include future entries and it works great. Thanks again. 😊
