Hi all,

My users are requesting a “Karma System” for our forums, and I think it’s great idea.

Like - for example - on Apple’s support forums, where when a user give great help, you can assign him or her a ” + ” value, and thus earning the user greater “karma”.

Or similar to Yahoo! Answers, where one can assign a reply as “Most Helpful Reply” again earning the user greater karma. 

Has anyone tackled this request on EE-based forums, and if so, how do you go about implementing it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 😊

I know Solspace has a Ratings Module, but I haven’t used it and don’t know if it would work in the case you describe.  I am sure there are others experienced with it that can tell you more, or post a question about it in the Modules Forum, or contact the author of the Module directly.
