This is a docs questions but I didn’t see a docs forum.

Are the new changes to the docs for 1.6 only the links to docs in the Changelog?

Or are there other areas of the docs that I missed?

I ask because just a few weeks ago I printed out the entire web docs on my laser printer, and painstakingly created a binder with tabs and everything (woo me!).  Now I need to know which pages of the docs to replace.

I’ve already re-printed the pages listed in the Changelog. Any others?

I know the updating from an earlier version has 1.6 specific instructions added.  I’m not dead sure whether there were changes elsewhere that would not necessarily be linked directly from the changelog- though in truth, I suspect there are.  But I’ll confirm with the crew before making that a ‘definitive’ answer.

I’ve confirmed with Derek- while the major new features/additions should be directly linked from the changelog, there are additional updates to the docs that may not be directly linked. 

Er- have another binder handy?  Looks like the live docs are always going to be the ‘safest’ bet- as minor changes and clarifications happen as the need arises.  The changelog isn’t going to be a perfect indicator of document updates.

Thanks. I think as long as I have most of them I’ll be ok for now. I’ll just re-print in another 6 months or so, and if something isn’t working, I’ll check for a difference in the live docs.

Besides, I’m quite sure that EE version 2.0 will be out before then…right?  😊
