    Hi,

I tried to email sales directly, but I am getting an error:

You are not authorized to perform this action

I don’t know if I should post this here or under Website Bugs.  If someone could PM me a direct email to sales, that would work too.  Or let me know some other way to get to them??  Thanks so much!

Hrm, can you give me a link to where you get that error? We definitely need to get that sorted out. =)

In the mean-time, email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) directly. =)

You should be able to contact Leslie at [DELETED]. Worked for me when I needed it the last time.

Thanks Lisa.  I get the error from this page:

    http://expressionengine.com/sales/

I have all the fields filled out, and than press “email sales” and the error above is what I get.  It doesn’t give me anymore info besides not authorized???

Hrm, I just tested this and it sent fine. Are you behind any firewalls by any chance?

    hmm, no firewall at all.

Maybe my message was too long?  I had the following info selected:

    Question About: Licensing
    Project Type: Non-Profit

and than name, email, subject and message.

How odd!  But I did send an email directly off to sales and maybe the form just doesn’t like me?

I just tested and can’t replicate, usually this happens from a firewall blocking an IP.  I’ve alerted Les to it and we’ll keep an eye on it though. Thank you =)

Hrm, just one other thing I can think of.  I wonder if something triggered the blacklist.  I see your message so I’ll respond in a bit, emtwo.  Thank you. =)

    Hi Emtwo,

I added a direct link to the sales email address above the form for an easy alternative in case the form doesn’t work for some strange reason or people prefer their email client.

I can’t replicate this issue either. I logged into your account and tried sending using the contact form and it works just fine, so its nothing specific to your account. I’ll see if we can find anything else that might be causing it.

    Hi Leslie,

I just sent two tests through the form and both went successfully for me.  Thanks for adding the direct email link…that’s definitely quite handy.
